AET Digifest
Santa Monica College's satellite campus; Academy of Entertainment Technology (AET) was having Digifest to show off student's projects all day today. I believe this year is their 3rd Annual Digifest.
I just switched my major to Graphic Design from Interior Architectural Design. This is the first semester I'm taking Graphic Design classes. I was blown away with all the student's projects. They really look like they are made by professionals. It makes me wanna take all the classes as soon as possible so I can learn to create amazing creations.
They have quite a good range of projects; hand-drawn sketches, digital illustration, photoshop, page layout, typography, etc. A couple of my projects from the photoshop class were selected and shown in the showcase.
They also have voting for "The Best of Show". I'm proud to let you know that I got the 3rd place. Too bad they only gave one ribbon, so I didn't get one. But that doesn't matter. Just thinking that people appreciate my work makes me happy.

how many years does it take to complete that program?
Good luck on your new college track!
@long nguyen: Depends on your goal. If your goal is AA Degree, it's between 2-3 years. Bachelor is another 2-3 years in another university. (SMC doesn't offer bachelor degree)
@fishlamp: thank you. :)
Hey, I didn't even know you changed your major. Sweet.
