Just got a couple of photos from my mum. Here they are. The pups are suprisingly big. But it doesn't make them any less cute.

8 healthy puppies

Just wanna share the extremely wonderful news. My precious dog Brownie just gave birth to 8 healthy puppies on Tuesday, May 01 2007 starting around 5am Jakarta time. The process took very long hours and she is exhausted and lost her appetite a bit. I hope this wont last very long, tho. She needs to eat lotsa food to feed all the cute puppies. I'm crossing my fingers.

Oh, the thought of the puppies makes me so want to get the h*ll over there right this moment and cuddle them. Plus I haven't seen my precious Brownie for at least a year. I miss her...

This is not her first time giving birth. A few years ago, she gave birth to a puppy who was already dead when we found it in the morning. We weren't sure if it was dead even before it came to the world outside the womb or after. She wouldn't let it go for the whole day. She kept licking it as if it will make it come alive. It was so sad.

This is also not her first time on being a parent. A few times she had adopted a few kittens. I'm not joking. The kittens just came to our house and she basically took care of them. She even nursed them; she had had a couple of false pregnancy which made her breast full of milk. It was so cute watching them.



And today is a super happy day times 8. We are so happy. Imagine the cute puppy face and multiply it by 8! I can not wait til I get home and hug them all. I will go back home in June, but June seems so far away. I want to be home NOW!

I don't have photos of the pups yet. I'm forcing my mum to take pictures, but she is a bit technologically challenged. :)
